My love of the law started at the age of 16 when I began working part time for Wanda Barnett, a solo practitioner in Jefferson, Georgia. After graduating from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia I applied to 20 plus law schools and was denied acceptance to all of them. Determined not to give up on my dream to attend law school, I decided to pursue a Masters Degree in Business Administration. After graduating with my M.B.A., I applied again to several law schools and again was denied acceptance to all of them. For 10 consecutive years, I consistently applied to law school until I was finally accepted into the part time evening program at Atlanta's John Marshall Law School. Following my acceptance, I worked full time during the day and attended law school in the evening. I graduated from law school with honors, as a cum laude graduate finishing 1st in my class of 31 students. I went on to pass Georgia's rigorous Bar Exam during my first try. I started my legal career by clerking for the Piedmont Judicial Circuit, Superior Court. I then went it to private practice where my love of the law first started. Currently, my practice areas are business law, trademark law, copyright law, record restriction, and legacy estate planning.
Just as I was committed to getting into law school and doing my absolute best to be the best student I could be, I am likewise committed to working hard to provide the best legal representation to my clients.
I'm Experienced. I'm Dependable. I'm Authentic.
